Jennifer Jones

Ms. Jennifer M. Jones is an accomplished educational leader with over 18 years of experience in education, including more than a decade of service in Dallas ISD. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Ms. Jones moved to Dallas in 2014 to continue her work in education and leadership. She brings a strong background in instructional leadership, student achievement, and building collaborative school communities.


Ms. Jones began her career in Corporate America before transitioning into education, where she has served as a teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal across both elementary and secondary campuses. Throughout her career, she has supported diverse programs including ACE, P-TECH, Gifted & Talented, and districtwide initiatives, strengthening both teaching practices and student outcomes.


Ms. Jones holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida A&M University, a Master of Arts in Instructional Education from Central Michigan University, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from UNT Dallas.

 
A student-centered and relationship-driven leader, Ms. Jones is committed to building strong partnerships with students, staff, and families while ensuring every child is seen, heard, and prepared for success. She will lead the J.P. Elder community with a focus on clarity, collaboration, and continuous improvement to achieve excellence for all students.
